| Marching in
parades has been a tradition at the Washington Fire Company since the
early 1900's. Over the year the company has won many competitions
wearing the Blue an Gold colored uniform of the Washies. The company is
proud of it's accomplishments as a marching unit and would like to share
soe photographs of the company in the line of march to you. The links
below are from various parades we have participated in.
We are a fire company that has a theme
song, sung to the tune of the chorus of the Beer Barrel Polka. Below
are the words to the song:
Here come the Washies, marching
along in their blues
Here come the Washies, always been
known to be true
Let's get together, give them a
hand and a cheer
Now's the time to hail the Washies,
for the gang all here!
